Patrol Officer

The monotonous tasks of preparing reports and maintaining records take up a significant portion of a patrol officer's day. You won't be sitting at a computer very much; instead, you'll be out on patrol, making your presence felt in the neighborhood and reacting to incident reports.

There is an obvious heroic component to the work that serves the public and is part of the job description, but there is also a cost to your personal life due to the job. Officers are subjected to high rates of injury on the job due to their extended work hours. Nevertheless, the ability to protect and serve others can be extremely gratifying if one possesses the right character traits.

Between 2021 and 2031, the Bureau of Labour Statistics anticipates a rise in employment of 3.1% for the patrol officer position. It is anticipated that 21,500 new positions will become available during that time frame.

Executive Assistant

Executive assistants provide administrative and logistical assistance to high-level leaders working in public and commercial organizations. They may be responsible for managing the executive's calendar, arranging travel, sorting the executive's email messages in order of importance, and sometimes acting as a receptionist or gatekeeper. In this capacity, they operate as the interface between the executive and anybody who desires to meet with them.

In certain organizations, executive assistants are also responsible for managing other support staff members. For instance, Crosswright, an executive assistant to the mayor's chief of staff, also oversees the internship program for the mayor's office.

Flight Attendant

Customers will likely have the greatest interaction with the flight attendants out of any flight crew member. They are responsible for the passengers' comfort and must also be ready to react to any potential safety concerns that may develop throughout the trip.

Flight attendants conduct a pre-trip inspection of the aircraft's emergency equipment. They teach how to use seat belts, advise passengers on safety protocols such as using an oxygen mask and how to exit the aircraft, and confirm that passengers have their seat belts fastened before a flight.

Allison Pereira, a flight attendant for American Airlines based in Philadelphia, explains that her workday officially begins when she boards a plane and checks that all of the necessary safety gear is there. When we board a plane, we first check to see whether it has all of the emergency gear it needs. She added that we are usually the first ones to react to any issue that may arise on board, but many of our passengers don't realize that.

Sales Representative

Instead of selling directly to individual customers, sales agents target organizations such as corporations, government agencies, and other non-profits as their customers. When it comes to marketing products, wholesalers and manufacturers depend largely on sales reps, also referred to as manufacturers' representatives or agents. These sales reps might be tasked with selling everything from laboratory equipment to soft beverages.

A passionate attitude and a willingness to travel are two qualities that are essential to a successful career as a sales representative. It is required for sales professionals to attend trade fairs and conferences to stay current on the ever-evolving goods and ever-changing demands of customers. They might also be responsible for administrative tasks such as compiling cost reports or analyzing sales information.

The economy's health is the single most important factor determining the availability of jobs for sales reps. Additionally, new and specialized products increase the number of sales representatives hired. Between 2021 and 2031, the Bureau of Labour Statistics anticipates a 3.7% increase in the number of jobs available for sales agents. It is anticipated that 48,900 new jobs will become available during that time frame.

Sound Engineering Technician

Technicians in sound engineering are responsible for the installation of audio equipment, the verification that microphones are operational, and the monitoring and operating of the equipment while a performance or event is taking place. They could also be responsible for recording and synchronizing the music and operating the lights.
